Red Square Feeds<\/h2>\r\n
Red Square, our open, P2P on-chain social media, has gotten an update. Red Square now supports multiple custom feeds. Our first iteration of this upgrade will offer two distinct experiences: a curated feed managed by the Saito team and an open feed that gives users full control over their content policies.<\/p>\r\n
Since data travels on Red Square P2P, a combination of custom filtering and association with certain peers will give users control over their social feed unseen on other platforms. We’re excited to be pioneering this tech, and hope you will take it for a spin and offer feedback!<\/p>\r\n
ATR Module & Stress-Testing<\/h2>\r\n
The development team has been busy with several technical improvements. A beta version of a new block explorer (ATR Module) is in progress, focusing on improving in-house testing and performance. A comprehensive stress-testing effort identified and fixed a bottleneck related to SQLite and app coordination. This type of work is crucial for preparing Saito, on its technical front, for massive-scale.<\/p>\r\n
EGLD Collaboration<\/h2>\r\n
Exciting developments are also happening on the partnership front. The team recently reconnected with MultiverseX (EGLD) developers, who are impressed with Saito’s progress. The integration potential looks promising, with the EGLD team finding it easy to work with Saito.<\/p>\r\n
Third-Party Developer Advice<\/h2>\r\n
Saito is a superset of the client-server model. Not all applications require universal, objective information, and peer-to-peer solutions can often be more efficient. Any developers looking to build under this paradigm are encouraged to ask us for assistance. The usual sticking points with new developers come from misunderstandings about the best way to leverage Web 3.<\/p>\r\n
Academic Outreach<\/h2>\r\n
We are currently working with authors on a peer-reviewed paper that will fundamentally challenge existing blockchain research. The current academic landscape views blockchain through a narrow lens, treating it like an auction system where our technology simply “shouldn’t work.” Saito represents a new paradigm that deliberately breaks these outdated constraints.<\/p>\r\n
